I can still feel my Angus's wooly bony head under my hand, still yearn for the pleasure of resting with my head on Raja, still bring back the soft belly of Pi which was always available for belly rubs. We never stop remembering.
No. We never stop remembering. There are still some photos of Gizmo that I can't look at. But dogs also teach us to move on. Ruby and Bart have a very joyful relationship!
Oh it's so bittersweet. I didn't wash Kara's blankets for so long, just so I could smell her. I didn't wash Brucey's footprints off our glass door for 12 months and even then took a photo of them before I could bring myself to finally clean it. Yes, their life is too short, but we couldn't be without a dog in our lives. Take care, special hugs to you all. No worries, and LOVE, Carol (and Stella and Rory)
