resolve: to reach a firm decision about.
Do you make resolutions? I don't, they usually come back to
1) Reduce my fabric stash. It is out of control and taking over. I have a plan I will share at a later date.
2) Be more active. Walk after dinner at least once a week whether The Husband is home or not. Bike, hike or kayak at least once a month. We live in a beautiful area and need to enjoy the resources it has to offer.
3) Reduce our credit card debt. We got hit with a lot of costly surprises this year - Eddy's illness, The Husband's 3 surgeries (1 major, 2 minor), Lily's surgeries and treatments and car issues. It has really added up.
4) Make the perfect pair of pants. This maybe the hardest one to achieve!
That's it! Nothing I can't handle. I'll assess my progress on a quarterly basis. Should be totally manageable or it will all come back to
Here's to hoping that 2012 is better than 2011.........................
Happy New Year to you both and of course to the beautiful Miss Lily!

Happy New Year to you too! I hope that 2012 is healthy and happy for you. I am looking forward to Lily being cancer-free for her 10th birthday. That will be a day to celebrate!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Chris, I don't know if you follow Jazzi's blog, but before Christmas another blogger lost 5 of her dogs n a house fire (two were saved along with her son and other humans). ANYWAY, yet another blogger is making a quilt for her and is requesting fabric squares from all of us in order to create it. After reading your post yesterday about wanting to re-organize your fabric, I thought you might be interested. This blog has a lot of the info if you read down. jazzis-world.blogspot.com
